This pageant is open to any Dresden girls enrolled in grades K-12 that did NOT place in the Miss Dresden pageants.

Entry fee is $20, due at Pageant Practice which is Thursday, April 4 at 6:30 PM at the Dresden Elementary School Multipurpose Room.

YOU CAN ENTER BY:

1. Returning the form to Dresden City Hall by Monday, April 1

2. Texting the contact on the form with your intention to compete, then bring your completed entry form and fee to PAGEANT PRACTICE on Thursday, April 4 at 6:30 PM.

The Tennessee Iris Festival follows the same pageant guidelines that apply to the Strawberry Festival.
​
Winners will be expected to take part in Tennessee Iris Festival events and parades.

K-4th: Queen will receive a $50 cash prize
5th - 8th: Queen will receive a $100 cash prize
9th - 12th: Queen will receive $200 cash prize

This pageant is open to anyone age birth to 21 years  old. 

$20 entry fee and optional categories will be $5 each: Best Personality, Smile, Eyes or enter everything
for $35.

A queen and 4 alternates will be awarded in each division.

Registration begins at 9:30 am. The first pageant will begin at 10 am. Pageants may begin later than the start time listed but WILL NOT begin any earlier.

Age Groups + Starting Times:
Birth - 12 mos: 1:30 PM
13 - 24 mos: 2:00 PM
2 - 3 years: 2:30 PM
4 - 5 years: 3:00 PM
6 - 9 years: 3:30 PM
10 - 12 years: 4:00 PM
13 - 15 years: 4:30 PM
16 - 21 years: 5:00 PM

This pageant is open to any current titleholders. If the queen does not want to participate, the 1st maid may enter and so on. There will be no interview for this pageant.

The Tennessee Iris Festival has 3 dates that we are currently seeking food trucks and craft and small vendor applicants. 

Food trucks: $50 per event or $75 for 2 events
Craft Vendors + Small Food Vendors: $25 per event or $40 for 2 events

Saturday, April 27, 2024 @ Wilson Park (Opening Ceremonies)
Setup starts at 4 p.m. Event starts at 6 p.m.

Friday, May 3, 2024 @ Farmers Market / Moore Street (Music Fest)
Setup starts at 4 p.m. Event starts at 6 p.m.

Saturday, May 4, 2024 @ Farmers Market (Parade Morning)
Setup at 8:00 a.m. Parade starts at 10 a.m.

Tables, chairs, source of electricity (if needed) must be provided by the vendor. Vendor is
responsible for cleanup of space prior to leaving the event.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:

$5 Entry Fee for all entries 

Deadline to enter is May 7, 2024. 

Deadline to submit your form is April 21st.

Entries must be placed between 7 AM and 9:30 AM on Friday, May 5. 
Only ONE entry per person per class is allowed. 
All exhibits must remain in place until the close of the show. 
Entries and awards must be picked up at 4 PM. 
Emphasis within this show must be on fresh plant material. 
The Committee will endeavor to protect all exhibits, but cannot be responsible for loss or
damage to any property. 
Containers for horticulture exhibits (except container grown entries) will be provided by the committee.
