2021 marks the 41st anniversary of the celebration of the Tennessee Iris Festival here in Dresden. First begun by the Dresden Business Association in 1980 as an annual community Easter Parade, the Festival has grown into an event with a year-round influence in the heart of Weakley County. Whether showcasing the brightest talents in local art and music, playing host to well-known public figures, or featuring the best of area businesses, the Tennessee Iris Festival has built a tradition of excellence spanning four decades.

With this year’s theme, Where Kindness Blooms, the Festival aims to celebrate the kind and caring people that our community is made up of. The atmosphere of family, food, fun, and community fellowship in historic downtown Dresden promises to point us forward into an exciting week for the Tennessee Iris Festival.
